Chocolate for Breakfast - Nibs & Granola

 

Ingredients

Oats 

1195 g (5.25 C)

Brown sugar 

372 g (1.75 C)

Maple syrup 

500 g (1.5 C)

Olive oil 

230 g (1 C)

Salt 

19 g (3 Tsp)

Nibs

 

 70 g (1/2 C)

Baking Chocolate Bits

198.4 g (1.5C)

 

 

 

  1. Combine oats and sugar in a bowl. Mix separately maple syrup, oil, salt and pour mixture over  oats.  
  2. Put oats in different baking pans and bake at 250 F for 1hr 30 min, stirring every 15 minutes.
  3. Once baked, let cool down. Mix in nibs and chocolate bits. Store in an airtight container for up to 2 months.
