Truffle Making Class w/ A Twist for Beginners - Kit for Two Participants
Join our founder, Carolina Q., for an on demand virtual class on the first truffle recipes she ever learned to make plus cocktail recipes from master mixologist Gabe Urrutia! All class segments are pre recorded and can be accessed at any time you choose. We will ship out a truffle kit including all the chocolate needed to make French style ganache truffles. You will learn step by step on how to make dark chocolate truffles rolled in dark chocolate, milk chocolate, and/or nibs. You are also encouraged to roll in any other toppings you'd like to bring to the class - we suggest shredded coconut, chopped nuts, sprinkles, or anything that you'd like to pair with your ganache truffle.
You will also receive detailed instructions and video showcasing how to make two chocolate centric cocktails using the items in your kit - a Manhattan and a Single Origin Old Fashioned! Simple and easy to make, yet absolutely delicious. After learning these cocktails, Carolina has been able to replicate on her own despite never having mixology experience. We suggest allocating about 75-90 minutes for the full experience.
A few bowls, spoons, microwave or stove will be needed during class time. You will also need to have some heavy cream to whip the truffles. But, you may also bring along any of your favorite plant based mylks as a replacement - oat/almond milk and coconut cream all work great. If you would like how to use alcohol in truffles, feel free to bring along your favorite bottle for explanation. You can certainly email us prior to the class for any suggestions. You will have plenty of ingredients left over to then re-create the recipe after class.
Upon purchase, you will be sent a truffle kit containing the following:
- 2 bags of our dark Baking Chocolate
- 1 bag of our ground dark milk chocolate
- 1 bag of our ground dark chocolate
- 1 bag of our Cocoa nibs
- Espresso beans for cafe con leche infusion
- Melon baller
- Printed truffle & cocktail recipe
- Aromatic Bitters

Ordered a box of truffles and bonbons, plus a chocolate bar and they were all by far, the best chocolates I have ever had in my life. I will never go back to store bought chocolate (Hersheys, Nestle, etc.) The sugar level is low but perfectly sweet, not overly sweet as with most chocolates. This helps the cacao flavor to really shine and adds yet another level of indulgence. I cannot say enough good things about this company. If you haven't tried them out, give them a chance.
The chocolates at Exquisito Chocolates are 'DDD'... Divinely Delectably Delicious... There's no comparison to mas produced chocolate... Dark chocolates pair well with a red wine but with chocolates from Exquisito, it's on another level of decadence... Hey how 'bout that, another 'D'... ... Try these chocolates, they're well worth it.
I had heard of this place through word of mouth and various social media posts so I decided to come buy some chocolates for Valentine’s Day. I was not disappointed! It was some of the best truffles I’ve EVER had and I love how creative the names are! My favorite was probably the Miami Vice (cafe con leche with dulce de leche). The flavor was very distinct and I just love how it melts in your mouth. I’m definitely coming back for one of their tastings where you can bring your own wine.
Exquisite! Ordered it online and never expected to fall in love with chocolates all over again. I love that the sweetness is minimal where you can taste the coca with different taste notes, this is probably how chocolate is supposed to taste. These days chocolates are overpowered with sweetness where the taste of coca vanishes. I would recommend it for anyone who does not think that the “gold standards” of chocolates is a available while you are filling up gas or at your local grocery store.
